Steve Finley

Managing Director

After decades in the industry, Steve's extensive experience allows him to quickly establish the business need of new and existing clients to ensure they get the most out of their hardware and software. Steve has a passion for understanding problems and how they can be solved. Outside of work he is a keen cook & will often be found next to the BBQ or the infamous pizza oven.

Darren Mernagh

Technical Director

Darren has spent over 30 years working in IT in roles such as field service maintenance, installations, customer support and project services. In his role as technical director at faIT Darren has helped to build a solid team of technical service professionals providing an enviable customer service experience. He has also helped out with both customer account management and finance roles. He loves his gadgets and is always looking at new technologies for both personal use and anything that would benefit our customers.

FAIT was born out of three friends that had a single vision to provide professional IT products, services and support to companies across the UK.

We achieved this by becoming innovators, staying ahead of new technologies and providing best of breed products to our customers and soon became a recognised leading IT solutions provider both nationally and locally.

cHAPTER 1: Birth of FAIT

cHAPTER 2: oUR FIRST

Our Managing Director Donald Finley, along with Sales Director Steve Finley and Technical Director Darren Mernagh began to build our brand and within the first two weeks of the business starting we landed our biggest contract to date with a large infrastructure refresh and support package worth a staggering £250k.

We are happy to say that this company remains a valued customer to this day.

Unexpectedly, Don passed away in February 2022 and is still sadly missed to this day. Both Steve and Darren wish to keep his memory alive and pay testament to Don’s hard work and tenacity in helping to make FAIT the business that it has become today.

It was Don that thought of our company name FAIT, he considered that our destiny and future was in our own hands so FAIT was born, this legacy will live on throughout the life of the business.
